Thank you for your interest in the Project.
The Mackenzie Gas Project (MGP) is comprised of four Canadian oil and gas companies (Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited, ConocoPhillips Canada (North) Limited, Shell Canada Limited, ExxonMobil Canada Properties), and the Mackenzie Valley Aboriginal Pipeline LP (APG). APG represents the interests of three of the four corridor aboriginal groups along the Mackenzie Valley of Canada's Northwest Territories.
Imperial Oil is the operator of the Mackenzie Gas Project. Please contact Pius Rolheiser, Public Affairs - West, Corporate Planning & Communications, at firstname.lastname@example.org for information regarding contracting opportunities with the Mackenzie Gas Project. You may also access the MGP at their website: www.mackenziegasproject.com
The MGP has recently passed an important milestone for the Project when the National Energy Board (NEB) issued the MGP a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN). This certificate provides the holder of the certificate the authority to acquire the necessary right-of-way, construct and operate the pipeline.
Please note that a successful negotiation of an appropriate fiscal framework with the Federal Government is essential in order to re-initiate project activities (e.g. re-staff the project and resume engineering, permitting and field work). The best scenario is that construction is not expected to commence until 2015 at the earliest.
